Client Relationship Associate /
I came to Beck Bode after working for a small regional financial advisory firm in Rhode Island. There I wore many hats as I apprenticed to learn everything about becoming a financial advisor, which is ultimately what I wish to do.
As a Client Relationship Associate at Beck Bode I continue to build out my skill set. I’m responsible for client communications, account openings and closings, moving along paperwork, and assisting our advisors where necessary. I am concurrently studying to obtain my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional (CFP®) designation.
A few years ago, I completed an accelerated MBA program while working full-time. I’m excited to be a part of the Beck Bode team, and to continue along my learning path as I study for the CFP®.
I was drawn to Beck Bode for a number of reasons. First, I admire the firm’s investment philosophy, and the way it goes about its business. It simply makes sense to me. Next, I love the family-friendly aspect of the firm. Though I don’t have a family of my own yet, I am one of seven children (each spaced two years apart!). I truly appreciate the warm feel of the firm. Lots of companies claim to be family friendly, but Beck Bode really is. Lastly, I came to Beck Bode through a referral from a former colleague. Nothing beats a solid recommendation from someone who has experienced an employer firsthand.
If I needed any further proof, the simple fact that my role exists to support client relationships – and that I am one of many people at the firm who fill this specific function –goes to show the kind of commitment the firm makes to its advisors, and to its clients. It’s energizing to see a firm actively empower their advisors by building out service teams, so that everyone can benefit as a result.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with family, trying out new restaurants, and creative endeavors like woodblock prints and oil painting.
