After more than a dozen in-person meetings, I felt the team would work well with my clients. I was impressed with their desire to not only help take care of my clients but also to build the business. They agreed to have me keep 50% ownership for the next two years. My stake will then gradually decline over an expected 10 years as I remain an active partner. The search is finally over. I'm so relieved.
